Ask Ben for your nurse's ETA

Have your VAC order number ready. Find it on your confirmation screen, text or email. Use the VAC order number, not a patient identifier.
Call 1-877-611-4806. When Ben, VAC's phone assistant, answers, say:

“I need an ETA for order number [your VAC order number].”

Read the digits clearly. Ben will repeat the number; correct him if needed.

What Ben will do

Ben checks your order and the assigned nurse's live location. When available, he gives the nurse's name, travel status, distance, estimated minutes remaining and approximate arrival time.

If a live ETA is unavailable, Ben explains why and can offer to request an update from the assigned nurse. If he cannot find the order after checking the number again, he collects your name, callback number and facility for dispatch follow-up.

An ETA is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time, and can change with traffic. Please do not share patient names, birth dates or medical record numbers.

iPhone & iPad · Safari

Open this portal in Safari.
Tap Share (the square with an upward arrow). If Share is hidden, open Safari's page menu first.
Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, scroll to Edit Actions and add it.
Name it VAC Orders. Leave Open as Web App on if shown, then tap Add.

Android · Chrome

Open this portal in Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu beside the address bar.
Choose Install and create shortcut, then Create shortcut. On older versions, choose Add to Home screen.
Name it VAC Orders, tap Add, and confirm if asked. If your phone offers Install, you can choose that instead.

Opening from a text or email? Use Safari or Chrome to add the shortcut. An internet connection is required to place an order.
